Our tutor, Adrian, will guide you through a range of topics, from aperture and shutter speed to exposure, lenses and digital processing, helping you develop your own unique style and creative vision. The course will be part theory but have plenty of opportunity to put that theory into practice! Areas covered include: various lighting techniques (including daylight, flash and continuous light), what lens to use for the best creative image, and post-production techniques (using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop). There will also be a live model, so more theory can be put into practice with different ways images can be `polished` with post-production work.

Course Tutor: Adrian Burrows
Adrian is an established photographer and film-maker, providing clients with creative solutions where strong imagery is the focus of the brief.
His clients span the arts, education, private and public sectors, and has been operating from his Birmingham base for more than 20 years.
His work falls into two broad areas: editorial advertising photography and commissions as an artist; but the one thing that remains the same is his approach and style. First and foremost, a creative. Fundamental to his approach is strong lighting and composition – these two vital elements combine to deliver images with impact.
