Family Explorers: Pond Dipping

Take a look below the surface in our pond dipping workshop. Use your net to see what you can uncover - there’s more in the water than you might think! Explore pond biodiversity and find out about just how important ponds are for wildlife.

Event details:

Time: 11am - 12pm or 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Location: Meet on the Terrace.

Tickets: Participating children are required to purchase general admission tickets and the Family Explorers: Pond Dipping ticket (£3). Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. General admission tickets are required for adults, but accompanying adults are not required to purchase workshop tickets.

Accessibility: This workshop is accessible via wheelchair. Please speak to a member of staff before booking to discuss any access requirements.

Weather: This event will go ahead in all but heavy persistent rain, or extreme and dangerous weather. Please wear appropriate foot wear and clothing to explore outdoors - and prepare to get a little messy!

Activities are suggested for children aged 4 – 10 years, but will offer enjoyment and interest for all ages.
