🌳While many visitors are captivated by the vibrant displays above ground, there's a hidden gem within - the Birmingham Botanical Gardens Archive.

πŸ“š This unique collection of photos, documents, postcards, herbarium specimens, letters, and more offers a fascinating glimpse into the history and heritage of the Gardens. It reveals the significance of the Grade II * listed landscape, uncovering the stories and secrets that have shaped this lush haven.

During this talk, you will get a unique introduction to the archives, including the original plans and layouts of the garden design, old postcards that transport you back in time and a look into the stunning herbarium specimens showcasing ferns from 1882.
